Education System in UK is of four levels.

Education system is also handled by four different regions of England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland according to their individual policies or interests.
TYPES OF INSTITUTION
Most of the universities in England are government funded. There are only five private universities in UK - Charitable university of Buckingham, Regent’s University, London, University of Law, BPP university and Arden university. The number of government funded universities has consistently increased every year.
ADMISSIONS
Any student who has passed Higher Secondary level exam can apply for bachelor degree course in UK. However, for post-graduate level courses students may need to posses some years of work experience along with graduate degrees. For applying to Ph.D. programs having a master’s degree is must.
