WHY USA ?
USA has some of the top-ranked global universities in the world like Harvard, Stanford or Princeton. It also has some of the most reputed colleges in the world like MIT or Caltech. USA higher education institutions give the option to do bachelor's, master or Ph.D. degrees in a vast range of fields or subjects. There are also special institutions and courses which provide short duration courses for almost no fees. American scientific universities are known for their research works. Graduating from a USA university or college increases the chances of getting a job by a large margin. Many USA companies like to hire fresh graduates through their internship programs. Students in USA are also able to easily get student loans.
EDUCATION SYSTEM IN USA
At the school level, the students are taught in K-12 grades. They are divided into different categories preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school. Beyond the higher secondary level, students can opt for 2 years long ‘Associate Degrees’ or 4 years long ‘Bachelor Degrees’ The duration of completing a master’s degree in the USA is approximately 2 years. Students are taught in higher education systems through the semester-system.

There are around 5,300 higher education institutes in the country, out of which 1,626 are government funded, 1,687 are not-for-profit and 985 for-profit institutions in USA. The country also has Ivy League universities, Technical schools, Liberal arts colleges and community colleges. The fees for studying may differ individually in different institutions.

Students can apply to colleges or universities through college application forms available on their websites. Students need to give some tests like SAT, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. to prove their worthiness to become a part of a particular college or educational institution.
