The outcomes of democracy are: Democracy Produces Accountable, Responsive and Legitimate Government. Thus, democracy produces a government that is accountable to the citizens and responsive to the needs and expectations of the citizens. Democracy ensures that decision making is based on norms and procedures. Students will be taught the outcomes of democracy and what we try to achieve in a democratic country, about the features of democracy, and the chapter will also discuss if a democratic Country can work accordingly in reality. Quality of government, economic well-being, inequality, social differences, conflict and finally freedom and dignity will be discussed concerning democracy.
