Human reproduction is any form of sexual reproduction resulting in human fertilization. It typically involves sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. During sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of the woman's ovum by the man's sperm. Reproduction is a vast topic which involves the process of fertilization and hence the birth of offsprings. Plants and animals can carry it out in the following two ways: Asexual reproduction and Sexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction involves the fusing of male and female gametes, whereas asexual reproduction involves a single parent.
