NCERT Solutions for Class 12 Chemistry Chapter 2 Solutions

A solution is a homogeneous mixture. The significant component is the solvent, while the minor component is the solute. Solutions can have any phase; for example, an alloy is a solid solution. Solutes are soluble or insoluble, meaning they dissolve or do not dissolve in a particular solvent. These solutions will help the students to understand types of solutions, expressing the concentration of the solution, ideal and non-ideal solutions, colligative properties, abnormal molar mass, solubility of solids and gases in a liquid, the vapour pressure of liquid solutions, Raoult’s law, and determination of molar masses. In this, students learn to determine the molarity, molality and mole fraction of solutions, know about Henry’s law constant, mass percentage, etc.
