Electricity and Circuits is an interesting chapter that teaches the student about the electric cell, a bulb connected to an electric cell, meaning and construction of electric circuits, switches, conductors and insulators and their significance. The voltages across parallel branches in the circuit are the same. Resistance is the opposition to the movement of charge through a material. Increasing the resistance in an electrical circuit decreases the current. The relationship between resistance, current and voltage is known as Ohm's Law.
