In Three Questions by Leo Tolstoy, we have the theme of wisdom, knowledge, awareness, kindness, forgiveness and acceptance. Narrated in the third person by an unnamed narrator, the reader realises after reading the story that Tolstoy may be exploring the theme of wisdom. In the tale Three Questions, a king has three questions that he needs to be answered. The first question is, when is the right time to do anything? The second question is, who are the most important people to turn to and to avoid. The third question is, what is the most important thing to do.
