    CSEET

    There are 4 papers in CSEET. It is a computer-based objective type test. Duration of the test is 120 minutes and viva-voce for testing listening, written communication and oral communication of 15 minutes.

    Viva-voce will be held immediately after CBT and via online mode using artificial intelligence or through recorded videos at designated examination centers. There will be no negative marking in the CSEET.

    It is expected that candidates will get familiar with the amendments in the CSEET Subject materials up to one month before the exam date.

    Foundation Programme:

    There are 4 papers in foundation Programme

  • 1. English and Business Communication
  • 2. Economics and Statistics
  • 3. Financial Accounting
  • 4. Elements of Business Laws and Management
  • Executive Programme

    There are 2 modules in the executive programme. Each module consists of 3 papers, a total of 6 papers.

  • General and Commercial Laws
  • Company Accounts, Cost and Management Accounting
  • Tax Laws
  • Module 2:

  • Company Law
  • Economic and Labour Laws
  • Securities Laws and Compliances
  • The student has to go through practical training for approximately 15 months, which a student may choose to begin after passing an executive programme sponsored by the institute.

    Professional Programme-

    There are 4 modules in the Professional Programme. Each module consists of 2 papers, a total of 8 papers.

  • On successful completion of professional examination and 15 months training, a candidate is admitted as an Associate Member of ICSI and can use the letter ACS (Associate Company Secretary) in front of their names.

    Can I get prospectus by post?

    Ans- Yes. Hard copies of the prospectus (without registration form) can be obtained by post from the institute (Noida office), by sending a demand draft of Rs. 250 / - in favor of 'The Institute of Company Secretaries of India' payable in New Delhi.

    3. What is the process to check the registration status?

    5. What is the eligibility criteria of the CS course?

    Ans- The eligibility criteria of the CS course are:-
    1. Foundation program can be followed by students with 10 + 2 pass or equivalent in Arts, Science or Commerce stream (except Fine Arts).
    2. The Executive Programme can be pursued by graduates of all streams except the fine arts.
    3. Professional programs can be pursued only after clearing the executive program of the CS course.

    6. What is CSEET?

    Ans- CSEET is a Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test. CS foundation
    is now replaced with CSEET from Feb 3, 2020.

    Ans- Yes, December 2020 is the last attempt for Executive & Professional students of the old course.

    11. What is the last date of changing the Examination Centre, Module, and Medium?

    Ans- The last date of changing the examination Centre, module, medium. Students who had enrolled in June 2020 can change up to Jul 26 to Nov 20, 2020, and Students who had enrolled in December 2020 can change up to Oct 10 to Nov 20.

    12. What is the procedure to change the Examination Centre, Module, and Medium?

    Ans- The procedure to change the Examination Centre, Module, and Medium- For June 2020 Enrolled Students- SMASH > MODULE>ENROLMENT> APPLY FOR EXAMINATION ENROLMENT SERVICES FOR JUNE, 2020 For December 2020 Enrolled Students- SMASH > MODULE>ENROLMENT> Exam Enrollment request> select check box> click on complete enrollment request> proceed.

    13. Is there any charges for students to change Centre, Module and Medium who has enrolled themselves in June 2020?

    Ans- No, there will be no charges for the student to change Centre, Module and Medium who has enrolled themselves in June 2020.

    14. Is there any charges for students to change Centre, Module and Medium who has enrolled themselves in December 2020?

    Ans- Yes, ₹ 250 will be the charges for students to change Centre, Module and Medium who has enrolled themselves in December 2020.

    15. What is the validity of the CS Executive registration?

    Ans- The validity of the CS Executive registration is of 5 years from the month of registration.

    16. Do I get the refund of change request fee?

    Ans- No, there is no provision to refund of the change request fee.

    17. Can I switch over from old syllabus to new syllabus?

    Ans- Yes, candidates can easily switch from old syllabus to new syllabus by following below steps:
    a. Visit. www.icsi.edu , then click on online services.
    b. Click on "New Foundation Student Login/Executive Student Login"
    c. Then select module
    d. You will get an option of switchover.
    e. Apply for a switch over from old syllabus to the new syllabus.

    18. Can I switch from new syllabus to old syllabus?

    Ans- No such switchover is permissible

    19. Is there any provision of skipping module or deleting module?

    Ans: No, skipping module or deletion of the module is not permissible.

    20. Can I change the exam centre once the window is closed?

    Ans: No, the change request will not be accepted after the last date of a change request.

    21. What will be the benefits for the candidates carry forward for June 2020?

    Ans: The candidates carry over all the benefits like:-
