National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the national level medical entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). NEET has replaced the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and all other state level and university level entrance exams. From the year 2016, admissions in government or private medical colleges for MBBS and BDS courses in India will be will be done solely through the NEET exam.
Aspirants who are seeking admission for MBBS or BDS courses in India have to qualify for the NEET Exam. The students can submit the online NEET Application Form 2024 by 6th April 2024. NEET UG 2024 will be conducted exam on 5th May 2024 and the results will be declared a few weeks later.

The detailed procedure to fill the NEET 2024 application form is given below:
Download the information brochure for NEET eligibility criteria and the instructions for filling the NEET form. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions in the brochure strictly. Students not fulfilling the instructions and eligibility criteria shall be summarily disqualified.
Candidate can progress towards filling the application form by filling the details asked in the official website for NEET 2024 official website.
Applicant must enter their name, the name of their Father, Mother, and address with correct spellings and date of birth as per Class X Certificate.
They must review and submit the information and note down the Registration number for future references and use.
A candidate who has registered can only upload the scanned images. Following are the list of images to be uploaded along with specifications as per NTA:

The photograph must be taken with a white background and the name of the candidate and the date of photo taken must be in-scripted at the bottom of the Photograph.
All the images must be in JPG format.
Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb).
Post Card size photograph (4" X 6") (Size: 50 kb to 300 kb).
The photographs taken must be latest preferably indicating clearly the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. The focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white
background)
Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.
Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
Application without photographs shall be rejected.
The photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport size and 4 to 6 Post Card size (4" X 6") colour photographs with white background.
Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be
dealt with accordingly.
In case someone else's photographs have been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as using UFM. Criminal action as per laws of the country shall also be initiated.
Note : Same Passport size and Post Card size photographs are to be used for uploading with Online Application Form and for pasting on
Attendance Sheet at the Examination Centre /Counselling/Admission. Candidates are reminded to keep 6 to 8 passport size and 4 to 6 Post Card size (4" X 6") colour photographs with white background.

The application fee can be paid through online mode only.
Online method include - Credit card/Debit card/E-wallet/UPI/Net banking.
Once the application form is submitted successfully, a confirmation page will be created. Aspirants are not required to share the Computer Generated Confirmation Page of the NEET 2024 Online Application form to NTA. Applicants must retain the confirmation page along with the proof of remittance of fee securely for any future reference.
Note: The authority will deactivate the facility for the submission of the application form, uploading of scanned images, fee payment, and printing of confirmation page as per the given schedule. Hence, candidates are requested to complete the procedure within the prescribed duration only.
Before filling the NEET application form, the candidates are advised to go through the eligibility conditions and other instructions carefully and then begin to fill the NEET 2024 application form.
The candidate must note the NEET registration number provided to him/her carefully at the time of filling the NEET form.
Before submitting the NEET 2024 form, applicants should make sure that the details filled in the form are correct and up to date. For example, the name of Father/Mother is mentioned correctly in the NEET application form as per the class 10th marksheet. The contact number, qualification details, and other details should also be mentioned.
The NEET 2024 application form must be filled carefully according to the instructions given in the form.
After filling in the details, candidates will be redirected to the payment page. After completely filling the form and successful payment, it is recommended to have a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
