The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, but if you are opting for Essay, then you will get 50 minutes extra time to write an Essay. No negative marking for incorrect answers, therefore there is no advantage of leaving any question blank. In SAT, the total score ranges from 400 to 1600. This score is the sum of Reading, Writing and Math section. Candidates need to score more than 1400 to increase your chances in the top 50 colleges.
