CLAT is a Common Law Admission Test. It is a national level leading law entrance examination for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLU) in India.
The CLAT exam was scheduled on 28 September 2020.

The purpose of CLAT is to get admission in NLU, Self-financed Law College and PSUs.
The validity of CLAT exam scorecard is one year.
The Minimum qualification for Under Graduate (UG) candidate is 10+2 or equivalent.
The Minimum qualification for Post Graduate (PG) candidate is LLB degree or equivalent.
As such, there is no age bar set to appear in the CLAT exam.
The procedure for filling the application form are as follows:

website- /Click on New Registration.
2. Enter name, mobile number, create a new password and confirm password.
3. Click on Register
4. The candidate will receive OTP while entering the mobile number at the time of generation.
5. Enter OTP, then Submit

No, CLAT exam has only objective type questions.
The application fees for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates is Rs.4000.
the application fees for SC/ST/BPL candidates is Rs.3500.
Application fees are non-refundable.

Admit card downloading procedure
1. To download e-Admit card, candidates will require Registration id followed by Date of Birth (DD-MM-YY)
2. Enter captcha word, then log in.
3. After Logging in, you will find an option to download the admit card.
Candidates are required to wear clothes with half sleeves.

Rs 50000 is to be paid for a counselling session of CLAT exam.
Minimum percentage required for CLAT- UG exam is 45% for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 40% for SC/ST categories.
Minimum percentage required for CLAT- PG exam is 50% for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 45% for SC/ST categories.
Negative marking is 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
The Total number of question asked is 150 in CLAT-UG exam.
The Total number of question asked is 120 in CLAT-PG exam.
The duration of CLAT exam is 2 hours.
